Comparison Structure
Each PairTago comparison puts two products side by side across 5 key highlight categories specific to their product type.
For example, smartphones are compared on Camera, Battery, Display, Performance, and Value. Sneakers are compared on Comfort, Style, Durability, Hype, and Value.
This ensures fair, consistent comparisons within each category.
Highlight Scores
Each highlight is rated on a 5-point scale (1โ5) with a short winner label.
Scores are based on specifications, reviews, user feedback, and editorial assessment.
The product with more highlight wins gets a subtle editorial edge, but the LoveBar (community vote) tells the real story.
The LoveBar
The LoveBar is a live, community-driven metric. It shows the percentage split of user votes for each product.
LoveBar scores are updated in real time as users vote. They are never manually adjusted or influenced by affiliate relationships.
Every user gets one vote per pair (per 24-hour window) to keep results fair.
LoveBrand Rankings
LoveBrand rankings aggregate all votes across pairs to show which brands earn the most community love in each category.
Rankings are recalculated periodically based on all accumulated votes.
